My friend told me he couldn't contact the office this morning.
I didn't have any problem with Web this morning. It was
slow though. Web3 was better than Web4 this morning.

Tried the local branch and I waited for about 3-4 minutes before they answered at around noon time. But I was able to log on to the webBroker, just takes longer. I was able to log onto DATEK as well. TradeDirect (phone) was busy at least half the time during the entire day. I know they had added a lot more lines but in days like today nothing is a sure thing.

Waterhouse cost me a great deal of money today. I attempted for several hours to reach them by either WebBroker, the local office or the 800 number. During those hours the stocks I had been watching (INTC, LU, IBM) moved dramatically upwards. I was never able to get through and I am extremely angry. The experience I had today was discount at its worst and I hope I never again suffer these feelings of frustration and helpless anger. I'm sure it happened to many small investors. I suppose I need to consider changing houses.
