God has a special dispensation for all. Repentant Republicans, Democrats, liberals, conservative, Greek, Jew, American, etc. can share equally in God's dispensation and mercy through Christ. As a Republican, I think the Republicans treatment of Clinton was hypocritical and meant only to advance their political agenda rather than a genuine concern for morality and God. Those who reject Christ reject the fullness of the mercy of God but at the same time they continue in the general blessings and mercy of God that comes through creation.
