Ultimately, one of two things happens --

a) Obama warms to more coercive rhetoric, or

b) He loses the negotiation (or whatever you want to call it).

You just don't go into something like this showing your weakness.

The comparisons with Carter are impossible for me to avoid.

Obama is used to getting his way by using a smile and mesmerizing people with his (teleprompter) speeches.

Certainly going to be interesting when these other leaders don't buy into it. (Ahmadinejad)

They already have Obama confused.

The only person confused is you.....over whom Obama is.
