I learned in the Marine Corps over 50 years ago that big slow moving armor is something to stay away from on the battle field, they draw a lot of fire. In the intervening years shoulder fired weaponry and IEDs have developed to the point that everything on wheels or tracks has a bullseye painted on it's side. Those facts have changed, and maybe eliminated, the future of conventional warfare
