SD, > Nice sleight of hand, but "equal protection" applies to people not marriage definitions. You're contradicting yourself. The "equal protection" argument is being used to counteract the definition of marriage as determined by popular vote. Besides, why have any gender-specific laws on the books if that by itself violates "equal protection"? I hear this one lawyer sued the Oakland A's because the free gift given to women during a breast cancer awareness event was "discrimanatory." Guess what? That lawyer won. Tenchusatsu
