Ted has stated on more than one occasion he doesn't like moderated threads. Which is part of the reason why he is here. When the moderated AMD thread was set up, this one got abandoned except for a few. So it was easy to co-opt. Having worked with SIAdminDave, I am pretty confident that if tejek were to ask, he'd be happy to make this thread moderated and put tejek in charge. Frankly, with the old/new management, it very well may happen. I know that they don't like these slagging threads. But, why not ask tejek to try it and see? "Do you want to go off on another tangent?" Gotcha. Trying to explain the situation is going off on a tangent. You wingnuts get so cute when cornered.

Do you want to go off on another tangent? I wanted this thread to be unmoderated in a democratic way. I think that thread moderation can lead to an artificial thread. This is one of the more annoying threads on SI but its also one of the more dynamic. Non moderation works in its own peculiar way.
