This is pure arrogance among the Dem leadership.

They don't care because they know it won't make any difference. They will pass whatever comes out of the Senate, if anything. This was just to get a bill passed and on it's way to the Senate.

There was a Dem on Fox this morning characterizing the cap and trade bill as a jobs bill, but he couldn't even look into the camera to say it. Then he said it would create hundreds of thousands of jobs over 20 years....

The republican pointed out that it would lose millions of jobs, many of which would go to India and China. He also said that 55 pages of the bill was devoted to a discussion of the jobs that would be lost under the bill.

If that's the best they can do to buttress this piece of you-know-what legislation, I have renewed hope that it will be stopped in the Senate.

Calling a pig a jobs bill doesn't make it oink less.
