When I posted about missiles in HW and possibly AK, I actually mixed up two stories........its the missiles procured by SK that will shoot into NK should NK threaten any land areas with its missiles. However, you were saying its not been determined if the Aegis is effective. Is that correct?

South Korea getting U.S. missiles to boost defences: report

SEOUL (Reuters) - South Korea is acquiring 40 U.S.-made missiles for an Aegis destroyer, class of warship very fast relative to its length, generally equipped with torpedos, antisubmarine equipment, and medium-caliber and antiaircraft guns. The newest destroyers are equipped with guided missiles as their chief offensive weapon.
