Steve: These browser based broker sites are nothing but crap! I can't understand why anyone would use them! At the very least they should have a backup broker such as yourself in case they can't get through to the overloaded and overworked staff of these deep discount firms. Personally I use several brokers because problems will always arise and it pays to make contingency plans.

Well, it happened, Steve, and I bet you guys in the full service end of things got a bit of a reputation boost as a result of it. There are some great online brokerages out there that did a bang up(means the same as great) service even today, but some weren't worth anything. The worthless ones could have shut their doors and turned off their modems with big URL return signs advertising a vacation. Marlin PS. BTW,I enjoy reading your posts.
