In order for electric vehicles to become cost competitive within 15 years, we need to invest and drive the tech to scale starting now. Fine.. put it in prototypes and upper scale markets until they get the price points down to where the average consumer can afford them. But DO NOT limit people's choices by using government regulation, cap and trade taxes, and the other multitude of schemes they can think of. GM invested in EV years ago, but found it wasn't cost efficient. Now they're being forced to do it by the Obama administration. Hawk
