Chips, I really must say that you have a great sense of humor. I love hearing about your 'ghost TA'. It must be a ghost since no one can see it or ever will. I don't believe that you ever had a short on CREAF, but that is my opinion. CHIP,

I like FAST as a short. I'll be long of course in CREAF. The market if it follows the pattern of 1987 will swing wildly for the next 60 days or so (through tax selling season) so you'll hav emore shorting opportunities. I'd focus on tech stocks with large intraday swings and try to do "day shorts" and make a few percentage points on those day swings if I were a shorter.

But I tend to stay long 90% of the time and just "sell down" options if I think that the market is going through a digestive phase..... Good luck! Your timing was perfect! Now I'm betting on "time" to take CREAF into the lower $30's/share...

Sincerely,

Doug F.

Chip, I thought that CREAF was going to 18, though! What made you change your mind?

And, oh congratulations on covering your short at 3/8 below the day's low! You'll have to teach me how to do that some day!

BS artist...

Chip, I for one am glad as hell that you covered today. Nice timing for about 4 bucks gain. In fact, I think you should go long now. Why not? If you look at CREAF's chart, it's one of the best looking you can find in the whole market right now. We're only about 2 bucks off the high and no noticable technical damage. Odds are very good we'll see 30's in November. At some point, CREAF may become a good short again, but until then, why not ride the CREAF Express? (Just a thought.)
