Ted, > I am so glad Prop 13 is getting the attention it deserves.

If Prop. 13 is ever repealed, I'll tell those who get evicted from their homes that a tax-n-spend liberal from Seattle, WA would be happy to have them as his new neighbors ...

CA's plight is what the (R)'s would have the rest of the country suffer. Slowly starve for revenue for years, patching things together, desperately trying to maintain services demanded, until the entire government collapsed.

I am so glad Prop 13 is getting the attention it deserves. This anti tax/anti gov't sickness/obsession of the new conservatives has to be stopped. They are undermining the country.

No kidding. Every generation makes sacrifices (pays taxes) to build a little more infrastructure that the next generation enjoys, and adds to. These guys are too selfish to do their part... if it keeps up we will slowly descend to 3rd world status.
