"If there wasn't at least a reasonable probably we could do it we wouldn't be deploying these various systems at great expense."

Sure there would be - to PRETEND that we can - to BLUFF. Lots of bluffing, all through the Cold War.

When you bluff in poker, you don't just check on the bet, you RAISE. Do you play poker, Dave?

"But you said we don't have the capability to shoot down an incoming NK missile and you are obviously wrong, yet cannot bring yourself to admit it."

It is only obvious to you. And you have brrn twisting and squirming and waving your hands to try to prove it. Even to the point of twisting what I posted. For example, I never said we didn't have the capability to shoot down an incoming NK missile. I have questioned whether we could do it reliably, but that is a different issue. So, per usual, you erect a straw man, dance and sing and wave your hands and then demand the other person admit defeat because you can throw up text walls.
