"Why not Sanford for President in 2012? Someone's gotta do it."

There is a draft Sanford in 2012 web site up. It will be interesting to see if it abruptly goes moribund or not.

There is a way. If Sanford admits his sinful error tearfully, begs forgiveness, grovels publicly, goes back to his wife, kids and strays no more, Jeezuz and the Fundies will forgive him.

Sanford's dead politically.

I don't know, the Republican party ran Bob Dole and John McCain for President. Giuliani and Gingrich are still respected members of the party. Vitter and Ensign still seem to be in good standing.

Why not Sanford for President in 2012? Someone's gotta do it.

They've started a website: Get Sanford to Leave and the Rs are organizing a protest rally this week in Columbia, SC demanding that he quit.

I don't think it was even that he cheated.....its the way he talked about it that has them disturbed.
