tekgk, I have had plans to close a portion of my OEX puts and some NOV VIAS puts. Couldn't get though my broker whenever I tried. May be I didn't try hard enough. The mishap and the day were quite expensive to me. I am concerned but not shaken by today's rally. Still a lot of fluff is floating around. My single most unorthodox indicator is that as long as both AOL, YHOO and MU are trading above 20, this market has not seen the bottom. Call me nuts.
This thread is becoming very crowded for my interest. I will appreciate if you can join Ask Mohan.. thread.

A very tough lesson to be learned. The technology cannot handle days like today. Elecronic traders shutting down because of volume. Real-time quote provider's servers crashing. It made it very tough to follow today's market. At Fidelity, I had to wait 10 minutes to talk to a trader after I got by the busy signals. The problem was due to the fact that the real-time quote server had crashed and eveyone was calling in for quotes !!!!!!
