On the contrary, it is always exciting when an accepted theory is proven wrong. By the way, there is a Wikipedia page on this Russian theory: en.wikipedia.org Alexander von Humboldt was a thoroughly admirable man who achieved a great deal. I recently read an interesting book about his life. BTW, it was not very polite to tell me to go away, not very sensible either.
