Yes, many democrats are crooks. But so are Duke Cunningham and all the other good ol' boys indicted and off to jail from the republican side. Political power leads to bad habits in many people, on both sides of the aisle. The democrats now have complete political power and are acting strangely like the republicans when they had complete political power. Divided government (as I have long proposed) would be nice to at least partly balance the scales, but I don't see the Republicans making up ground in the Senate or House. But 2010 could be a surprise. Best to get all the scandles and wronged wives out of the woodwork now so the issues can be the focus later. Maybe you could call republican headquarters and tell them to stop having Sanford give interviews for a while...
