You know what I think?

No Buzz, tell us what you think.

I think the new management was brought in, not only to turn Ancor around, but to find a "mate" with the resources (read: $$$$$) to take this technology and ANCR to the extreme forefront of the SAN/LAN connectivity industry. I wouldn't be at all surprised if there was an equity investment made by someone rather notable, in the near future.

Just speculating out loud folks.

P.S. I would love to hear from those who have actually conversed with the new management, as to your feelings whether ANCR would indeed seriously entertain a merger/investment. Or are they confident in taking this ANCR flight solo. Thanks.

Streetclam,

The Emulex/HP announcement you posted got me to thinking. Based on the Qlogic/Ancor news today, we should probably be watching for any Qlogic alliances along this line. It might tip us off regarding potential OEM contracts.
