view...: Since he bought the CUBE puts then he isn't "naked puts", right ? Also, I think your hedge theory makes more sense and if thats the case you have to like his timing. Luckily, a few days ago, I bought back my naked Nov22.5 puts and right away ooopps'd by selling naked Feb35 puts; oh well. Actually did you see todays volumn in the Nov30 calls ? Not bad ? The Nov30 call today jumped 100% (if I'm correct). Maybe the option market lacks the novice holders that could exist in the overall market (mutual fund holders ?).
