Did I miss something? A Jeffersonian democrat was for big government. President, only person electd by all the people and all of that. Goldwater was for small government.

I read cosncious of a conservative. When I knew nothing. Ayn Rand as well. At the time they sounded good. But I was 19-lol.

Big diffferenc between Goldwater and Sartre.

MY mistake, sorry, I confused Jeffersonian democracy with Jacksonian democracy.

Jefferson was certainly more of an existentialist than Goldwater, IMO.
