25 years ago GW supporters were writing books and claiming the planet was going into a deep freeze. Ok, just for extremely mild amusement's sake, do you think you could cite 1 (one) of these alleged books? Oops, reparsing your sentence, I guess you can say the claims are independent of the alleged books, but you might want to put a name on 1 (one) of these "GW supporters" that had the planet going "into a deep freeze" anyway. As far as religion goes, I find it hard to believe any scientist of whatever stripe could match the LindyBill crowd for religious devotion to one peculiar brand of political dogmatism, but that's another story.
