Most industrial decisions will be to invest somewhere other than the US.

Why? Is an incremental increase in energy cost the only determining factor in where to make an industrial investment?

This is a hypothesis, because you speak of your theory of what will transpire in the future: "Train wreck politics = Team Obama"

This is a fact, because it already happened and we're dealing with the consequences of it now: "Train wreck politics = Team Bush"

Ergo, I'm in support of Team Obama, because they are doing things differently than what Team Bush did relative to our energy security. More of the same re our energy policies will lead to more of the same failures of the Bush administration. Since I'm not insane, I don't believe, like you do, that doing the same thing over and over again will lead to different results.
