Nope, it won't go broke. It will simply cut out needed services for those who are no longer productive. You must support the colony by working or making welfare babies.

Death by withdrawal of services isn't really euthanizing. It is supporting the hive, the colony.

Well... two things seems fairly certain, non-profits are apt to:

1) Run more cost-effectively then for-profits.

2) And it is possible that they might be able to retain a greater organizational emphasis on the public's health outcomes (then for-profit enterprises which, of course, have distinctly different motivations).
