Are there any good restaurants?

Don't know about restaurants, but last time I was in town for a Board of Tax Appeals hearing, there was only one decent hotel in town.

There is an excellent restaurant called Falls Terrace at Exit 103, Descutes Way. They have great bread and coffee, plus a pretty view of the Deschutes falls. Dowtown has intriguing shops and a ton of bakeries/coffee houses. There is a restaurant, modern, across from the farmer's market but we have not tried it yet.
