Cap and trade are economy wide things. The nuke plant is a local cost.

The nuke plant will also benefit your area when operational. Cap and trade won't benefit anything - even if you granted all the environmental claims of AGW alarmists, cap and trade wouldn't make a difference.

It's fear mongering. What cracks me up, Road Walker, is that the total cost of this energy legislation is far less than the $1 trillion Bush spent in Iraq, and yet, Bob never talks about the economic train wreck that Bush brought on by his reckless spending on things that don't have a return on investment. Renewable energy has a massive return on investment. There's the difference. Bob just like to talk about the costs, but not the benefits. It's a failing of his.
