Which Bush and the GOP pushed hard for and got and the Dems continue to support. Bipartisan stupidity. Last I checked, though, the energy legislation does not pick a favorite end product. It is mostly aimed at increasing conservation and R&D for new forms of energy, as well as carbon sequestration technology. It's a bet on all products to wean us away from carbon emissions.
