"there used to be corn everyday in the summer 10 years ago"

Sounds like another Bush-caused problem.

there used to be corn everyday in the summer 10 years ago, now it's every two weeks or so and it's like 4 ears for 2 bucks

Uh.....its late June/early July.....the corn you see in supermarkets now is from more southern climes.....its more sporadic because its imported and its more expensive.

Have you never been to a farm? US corn doesn't start coming into until late July/August. In the Midwest, the corn needs to be knee high by the 4th of July to produce a successful crop.
