What an ignorant article. Conservatives have been commenting about this a lot. I wish liberals would pay attention to lib politicians crimes and failings as much.

Ted, I haven't followed Dr. Dobson in a long time, but I did see the following link:

S.C. Pro-Family Group Encourages Support for Sanford's Wife

Political pundits and tabloid watchers have been taken with the sex scandal of South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford. Less attention has been given to what many are calling the courageous response of his wife, Jenny.

That's why South Carolina's Palmetto Family Council has launched a "Stand with Jenny" campaign. It is collecting messages of support for the first lady, and has promised to pass them on to her.

"Her reaction to this crisis in her family has been strictly a biblical reaction," Palmetto Family Council Executive Director Dr. Oran Smith said. "She's been incredibly impressive and incredibly composed."

Smith has been particularly impressed with Mrs. Sanford's focus on her family.

"She made the point that this is not about politics or a political career," he noted. "It is about the character of her children."

Mrs. Sanford has been a good example to other women, to young girls and to the state for the way she's handled this crisis, Smith said.
