"I belong to an Advantage program called Mediblue which is administered by Empire (Blue Cross,Blue Shield) and is the only one made available to me by my company. My prescriptions are included (with copay)and there are several other goodies like a hearing aid allowance of $500. I am currently paying about $150 a month for my wife and me. The previous 2 years I paid absolutely nothing....my company's allowance was enough to cover employees in this county."

The above statement seems almost entirely inconsistent with this statement...except that you belong to a Medicare Advantage program...(sorry for the misuse of the term "supplemental") but I don't think my meaning was that far off.

"I have no supplemental insurance except a crummy dental plan, I belong to a Medicare Advantage plan...."

I see also that your company is paying part of your Advantage program costs....

You seem sufficiently confused about what you have and what the real costs are that I think I will continue to do my own research. Thank you for your attempt to help.

BTW, does your wife manage you insurance programs? It would seem that you don't have a clue about the differences between the government part of your insurance and the private sector part of your plan.
