LOL no one has ever been given the death penalty because someone put stuff in their luggage. Singapore is a democracy and has a very good legal and court system. It takes a huge amount of evidence and many months and appeals before someone is given the ultimate penalty. Saudi is a different story of course. Best to lock ones luggage. No one has ever put something in anothers luggage if there is a lock on it because it would show signs of being tampered with. Don't worry about Singapore. They aren't looking for reasons to execute someone I assure you. I can't even remember the last time there was an execution in the news. That said, it works as a deterrent because there are now no gangs in Singapore like there were 30 years ago
