She represents all the ignorant uneducated folks who think they should be running the world. There's a lot of those folks- not enough to elect Palin, but enough to cause a lot of bitching. It's easier to blame the people who don't like Palin for weird reasons to dislike her, than to admit she obviously didn't learn much in college, hasn't had a very broad life experience, and is even kind of limited for a provincial person.

I mean for someone just like Palin- and I'm sure many of her supporters are like her- to admit her faults is to admit their own.

It's really quite an insult to all women, and especially republican women, to pretend that not liking Palin is about sexism. Not liking Palin is about ignorantism. (And I'd argue discriminating against the ignorant is probably wise) There are plenty of bright competent republican women- it's a shame McCain didn't choose to run with one.
