For instance, the crash at Queens was reviewed in a television documentary ("Mayday"); the crash was attributed to pilot-induced excessive rudder movement, in attempting to counteract vortex effects. So there may be some bias in the article. While a large number of such planes operate with apparent safety every day, the aggregate of information suggests a need for further research. Jim
