Even if the Franken people fixed the voting, there were still enough (or nearly enough) people in MN that voted for the NotFunnyClown, that they will in pretty quick order, be the laughing stock of the country. Think Bunny ears, Teddy Bear and Depends.... As the title of Hugh Hewitt's book said a few years back, "If its not Close, They Can't Steal It." Franken never would be Senator if thousands of otherwise smart, rational Minnesotans had not voted for the guy.
