re: was any investor actually able to buy at the low prices?

I would like to know that too. I was foolish enough not to have any cash for this, but I have friends who did who tried to buy COMS in the 30's and Dell in the low 80's and could not seem to get through, or if they did market, the price was much higher.Anyone who managed to get in at a low low price, let us know so we will know its "honest"

As of about 12:30 a friend's girlfriend was still waiting for her order to fill. It was for 100 shares of DELL @ market. She placed it with A.G. Edwards last night so it was there at the open. Her broker told her that only large orders, 10,000 or more, were being filled on the buy side. I don't know if she got it later.

Remember this is hearsay, I only talked to her boyfriend.

I got lots of executions, but they were all on limit orders.

pt - A friend of mine at work today claims to have picked
up several hundred shares at 73.625. He just called up OLDE this
morning and PRESTO, no problem. I'm pretty sure he was telling
the truth because he was bouncing off the walls today at 3:00.
