Staff working on the Wyeth partnership programs have been doing it for years and my impression is that they are different from the ones doing discovery research. The TTHI program is a standalone operation that is unaffected, as far as I know. I think the new hires are associated with the increased investment Elan is planning for certain programs, not as replacements. Will it all be seamless? Nope. Anyway, my response was focused on financial interest, no intent to characterize the effect on the programs...
