In some ways it was worse. The 57 could have been (though I don't necessarily think so) a slip of the lip. However, the Pearl Harbor reference was utterly stupid.

Wow!!!

So His Greatness's statement about 57 states was a huge Freudian slip on his part. (caveat: I notes sites refer to anywhere between 54 and 57 member nations).
