California is screwed up big time. They need to pass their budget with a simple majority. Sacramento is a mess and the next elections need to be a 100% anti-incumbency. Then we may start to see the state turning around.

The world's eighth-largest economy has just gone belly-up. When midnight tolled on Tuesday night with legislators and Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger still deadlocked over how to resolve the state's staggering $24 billion budget shortfall, California became unable to pay its bills

AIG screwed up, and Obama gives the company $ 180+ billion and let AIG management to have parties in Beverly Hills.

California has a budget shortfall, and yes, Californias pay taxes, but Obama let the state hung dry.

Good Job President Obama. Where is you compassionate message?

Why should Obama bail out a state that doesn't want to take responsibility for its chaos? Just read Little Joe's and Dan B's posts. They have more excuses than Carter's has pills.
