It's 76 here in Iowa today, with temperatures rising to 83 by this coming Monday.

We may have to go out and put sweaters on all the corn and soybeans..!!! We need high 80s and 90s to avoid stunting their growth.

Funny, USDA know-it-alls and Agri-media are reporting a bumper crop again this year, despite ALGORE's comic book grade control over the environment.

Kenneth hasn't taken into account all the hot air Obama and the Dems are blowing around the country. That has a significant affect on the temperatures in various places.

Move on over to Dallas-------spent one summer there---it got up to a 120 in the shade----the Trinity River was bone dry----then the rain came the Trinity flooded. The town of Arlington, Texas had rain covering people's porch steps. As the rain receded the water moccasins were abundant.

Cheery aren't I.

Coolish here today----feels just wonderful.

Went for a 100 mile scooter ride on Wednesday (July 1) and about had a dose of hypothermia wearing the same garb that I would use in January.....It was around 60 midday and I got caught in a very light rain for a couple miles.

First week of July has been very pleasant here....Cooler weather seems to be the new norm in my area.
