Palin Quits as Alaska Governor...

Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin said Friday that she is stepping down at the end of the month, setting up a potential run for the Republican presidential nomination in 2012... I say good for her, she's just as entitled as that idiot obama, and could certainly do a far better job...

Sarah's resignation simply demonstrates, again, that she does not recognize the importance of concluding each position the voters entrust a politician with:

1) When elected, she promised to serve. Now, for reasons hazy at best and rambling and incoherent at worst, she has simply walked away from a responsibility. Would she do that if elected to the Presidency?

2) She is telling the citizens of Alaska that she has other things to do. Things more important than being their governor. yes, that makes sense.

3) On a national stage, were she to run, how would she explain her abandonment of the Alaska people in these tough economic times, when her reputation could lead to better things for the State...certainly better than the no-name Lieutenant Governor could ever provide. Called to duty? That is what she said when she first ran for the office. She felt "called to duty". And now?

4) A brilliant move? No....a death move. Hopefully there is not some enormous scandel behind all this....maybe it is just a foolish, egocentric, political move.

If so, Sarah is just being Sarah.....and the republican money and establishment will (have) turned their backs on her.

Toast. And none too soon. Serious candiates only apply, please.
