Palin could "bone up" for 10 years and it still wouldn't give her the "gravitas" to get elected President. The "moneyed" Republicans aren't going to back another 'air head' like Bush Jr. after what he did to the party. Palin quitting midway through her term will be the end of her time in National Politics. She'll write her book and do Oprah and maybe split some votes with Huckabee in 2012, but she'll be nothing but a footnote from here on in.
