Good post...

We are "Past the Point" where each Party can just play politics all the time and just ignore the COUNTRY's NEEDS.

I haven't been posting much lately because I can't support EITHER Party right now.

I don't like the Dems spending, but I'm rather incredulous about the Repubs suddenly worrying about deficits when they never seemed concerned over the last 30 years.

I agree, but this is not an ideal world, nothing is perfect...

From the day this country was born, Americans have rewarded success and discouraged failure... obama (and his party) punishes success and rewards failure... what other conclusion is one to draw from this other than the fact that liberals are unpatriotic and immoral?

If the government really wanted the uninsured to obtain suitable health care, then it should allow people to shop for health care across State lines... liberate the patient and give him the freedom to shop for the best price nationwide... this would create enormous competition among health care companies and the government would not have to meddle... liberate the patient, don't make him dependent on some government plan that will fail anyhow, competition works... you can shop for a car across State lines, you can shop for anything across State lines, why not health care? Why limit a person's ability to obtain adequate health care for himself and without government stepping in for no real reason... competition works, and government control destroys competition, this is not what America is about...
