Yep, i get that. However, I suspect the new one, or added provisions, will be a tad bit more onerous. I can see the requirements for resale now. I have very strict inspectors in my 'burb and you have to be to code before they sign off on letting you put your house on the market. Combine that with a financial impetus inserted into this, and you don't have to cascade the situation much to see where you end up.

I have single pane glazed windows, original to the house. They are energy pigs...but I have zero interest in spending $28,000 to have them replaced at this time. I could potentially be SOL. Just another worry point, but I would put nothing past this Government.
