Wreckage in the jack-up market gets worse and worse. From rigzone, 271 drilling. 83 ready-stacked. 43 cold stacked. On June 4, 2009: Total Jack-up fleet: 446 + 61 under construction 299 drilling. 67 ready-stacked. 30 cold stacked. I do not know how some claim the bottom in this market. Jack-up's are keep rolling off the contracts and just getting stacked up. And their contracts are not like deep water, several years out. This started to spill over into mid-water semis, but not serious yet.
