I got out of APM today after considerable lose. I had been long on stocks
and options. I learned one lession: Go with leaders and don't
expect sympathy from the market if a companies CEO is not in good terms with the street.
All the best to all APM faithfuls.

Greg:

When you listen to a guy like Jerry Klein "Live" you can get a much better impression of how he feels on a stock than just reading a few chosen remarks. He left me with the impression that he had lost faith. He wished he was out but was not. I think he is holding for the long term, but would jump on a chance to minimize the loss of profits, and get out. At least partially. He sounded like I felt; that he wished he had sold out about a week earlier in the low 30's. He's not the only one that started to have a little voice telling him that the stock was falling the last two weeks before earnings, could be bad news.

He is a huge fan of Chuck Haggarty of WDC and IMO this guy is a great CEO.
I think he has decided that Mr. Cris' is not in that league. Once you recalculate the growth rates and eps- add to that the discomfort of a CEO who now may or may not give any guidance until earnings dates on performance. You know-I don't think even the short posters hyping negativity, would have suggested that earnings would miss by 30% AND future estimates slashed! I lost faith and dumped at a $10 loss yesterday at the open. All just IMO.

Good Luck

Bill
