There is no shortage. If the majors just drilled on existing leases they have and brought them into production we would have roughly 4.5 million more bbls per day of domestic production.

I'm not feeling sorry for those companies. I hope the U.S. Government takes them away and gives them to someone who will drill. We are the ones who are getting screwed by their inaction.

It is also a _____ (pick the word). The R approach is well stated as an "all of the above solution". The fool knows that - but it is not convenient at the moment. Over the years a common trait of the hard left is to make what ever statement is necessary at the moment for the argument at hand. Accuracy becomes irrelevant to the argument. It is their mission to vanquish alternate thought at all costs - including truth.
