I had the honor this morning of riding escort for a 10k run that was being done to benefit the Vets. Our job was to keep the cars away from the runners and to block intersections so the runners could get through without interference by the cars. Most of the riders were members of the Combat Veterans MC, but they let me tag along. We had about 10 bikes, along with two police motorcycles. This is the first time I have done multiple U-turns and run red lights in the presence of the police.
