Yes, as I stated it, and it can't be changed by you per the above, it IS Democrat and Republican sure enough. Joe McCarthy had liberal leanings, and he was a Democrat no doubt therefore. He became a Republican, as I recall it, partly so he'd fare better in elections in Wisconsin. Re: "The conservatives all the way throught (sic) the cold war saw communits (sic) under every bed and caused a lot of damage like the Viet Nam war" I repeat if you didn't read me, both Democrats and Republicans saw commies "under every bed" as it were, during those years. Kennedy and Johnson themselves are ample proof as they indeed were responsible for the escalation of the war in Vietnam. Facts are facts. So what? So just accept it instead of pretending truth isn't truth. Implying that Democrats didn't fight against civil rights and promote the Vietnam War as much and more than anyone is just silly when the history is so plainly otherwise. By the by, don't you think you should provide links when you quote the writings of others extensively? Dan B.
