speaking of McCarthy and that sort of mindset... I suppose it shouldn't be surprising that some in America defend a military coup. They 'want' military coups when they hate a pres... like Clinton... bless his flawed self, he must have done something right to inspire such hatred from the far-right? and it must irk them that Gates is so clearly beside Obama, otherwise they could play up the 'the military hates dems and wants Obama out' card. been refreshing on Andrew Jackson. We really took a wrong turn when we elected him.

Re: "So you do not see the issue clearly." Dude, if you can explain on what basis you say that, it would be wonderful. Of course, if you can explain on what basis you feel Obama is open minded on the subject of gay marriage when in fact he's flatly stated he doesn't believe gays should be married, as I've been asking you to to no avail for so long here now, that would be wonderful too. Of course, you can state again without addressing my question in any real shape or form, that I don't understand the issue clearly. But that would be evasive. Dan B.
