The problem is that in some parts of the country there is private healthcare monopoly So what? And in some parts of the country there is no monopoly... I can guarantee you, allow an individual to shop across State lines and those monopolies will evaporate... there are monopolies only because there is no competition... allow competition and you will have a competitive market that would bend over backwards to accommodate the buyer, this is how competition and free markets work... as soon as you restrict and prohibit, you destroy competition... and government has a way of destroying competition, the American citizen will always suffer the consequences of government meddling...
