Thanks, shl...I'm afraid, though, that's all waaaaay over the head of this computer dummie afraid he's somehow being violated...LOL You should ask for Milk with your cookies then so you won't feel totally violated. Maybe we could get flowers with our cookies or dinner and a movie!

...like Scott NcNeely (ex-SUNW CEO) once said, "Privacy? you don't have any ... Get over it!" Bottom line on Cookies: 'They' can't RUN code on your computer or look at your files ... but with clever design and updating of a single text-data string on your computer, 'they' can guess at a lot of info about you. Even more, if the 'theys' cooperate by comparing notes. (Note: no one but you can review ALL of the cookies generated by others at your computer site, each 'they-person' can only look at THEIR respective string.)
